Countdown to Peru - My Hiking Shoes

Selamat Hari Raya Adilfitri! Maaf, Zahir dan Batin.
Today is the 1st raya day to the muslim people and we have two days public holidays.

Six more days I will be leaving to Peru and I have yet to pack my luggage. :D

We are given a 'to bring' list for our packing. The most important thing is getting a pair of hiking shoes (an advise from those people who went last year). After did some researched on famous brand for hiking shoes as such The North Face, Columbia, Timberland. At last, I have decided this pair  ------>

With 30% discount, the shoes still need about RM400+. Not cheap though.

The 2nd Sunday

As I told before every 2nd Sunday of the month is my favourite day, 'recharged' day, fruitful day to me. It is once a month ACIM day, a gathering with a group of like-minded people.
The seminar is having at Bangunan Getah Asli, for those who have no idea where it is, it is right opposite KLCC.
The first keyword today is easy life no personal grow. OK.. it simply meant when we are too comfy into our comfort zone and not make any progress in it, then there is no added value in our life. We live life by constantly adding value in our life. By increasing value, it comes well reward also.
Like rice grain - the more value we are, the more humble we will be. In Malaysia, there is also a saying from the Malay community that 'Ikut resmi padi - semakin tunduk, semakin berisi"

The 2nd keyword is if you attached to something, caused you pain. Attachment caused pain and suffering because it's all about i, me, my. That's why we need to look beyond i, me, my, nothing is permanent.

If you cannot hear the voice of God, it is because you are not listening. This statement is derived from ACIM  book. If we substitute God = Love, then do we notice love is everywhere, because god is everywhere. So, be specific what we want in our life, what so ever we choose to create, we can have it, because God is good, god is no duality. Do something with goal in mind.!

The voice of Ego is LACK. 

See, these theories I may know already, however sometimes unconsciously being distracted by drama in life. ACIM day is a day to 'fine-tune' my 'engine', helping me to walk smoothly in daily life.

A wonderful day with Sis

Today is Selangor public holiday, my youngest sister said she would like to buy me lunch and brought me to Klang for bak kut teh. Haha.. universe is really great ah, I just thought of bak kut teh and wanted to have it one day, my sis already offered to buy me bak kut teh..

We stopped at the shop named "Fong Jiao" . Sis generously asked me to order the food I feel like to eat and my first choice is of cause go for the bak kut teh, and she added on a plate of fried vegetable and lala.

Superb food, I loveeeeeee the bak kut teh soup.

After lunch, we went to look see a soho unit in Subang. There are two agents so happen stationed there 'waiting' for potential buyers. The agent, Sean brought us to level 16 which is the highest floor. In short, the unit looks ok, but it might needs to do some renovation work. (which brand new unit doesn't right?) /wahaha

Then my enthusiastic sis wanted to show me a condo project in OUG which according to her is a good unit to consider but.. ...... yes but the area is congested with nearby buildings construction.  (I guess that are happening in all klang valley which so called prime location lar, new property projects mushrooming here and there).
However we ended up couldn't find the condo mentioned and took a route out from Bandar Kinrara headed back to LDP.

Along LDP there is another construction going on under Mah Sing group, my kind sis suggested to drop by and have a look. This projects are mixed development come with offices, retail shops, shopping mall and service apartments. Again, the service apartments come with  few layout options, the smallest unit with 1 room already sold out, and there are units for 2 rooms, 3 rooms, 3+1 rooms and 4 rooms. As usual, the showroom has fantastic interior design to attract buyers. /:p

Then we went around to look at the town-house at Tropicana and Sunway Park Ville, which one is more attracted to us? Of cause is the one which looks exclusive and surrounded by nice greenish view.

That's all my great time spent together with sis. Thank you , thank you....

Peacock Mandala

There was a Saturday afternoon when I drove home from One Utama shopping mall, my mind appeared a peacock, and the picture was very clear in my mind eyes.

At first I thought it was only for a temporary, the following days, peacock image kept appearing in mind. /sweat

Since I just bought a new art block, so might as well I draw it out as cover page of my mandala book and did a little research what are peacocks generally symbolise.

• Peacock represents immortality.
• In Buddhism, peacock symbolised wisdom.
• The peacock feathers represent renewal & 'the all seeing eye of God'
• Native American believed peacock a symbol of dignity, wholeness, and beauty.
• Peacock has the power of resurrection.
• It associated with goddess Lakshmi whi represents benevolence, patience, kindness, compassion, and good fortune.
• A guardian of royalty to Persian & Babylonia.
• Peacock eats poisonous with no ill effects, so it's symbolised they have the ability to thrive in the face of suffering.

Yellow Fever Jab

To have a yellow fever certificate is a must for us who visiting Peru / Bolivia. The certificate is one of the documents  in the 'must do' list sending out by the organiser.
Only a few hospitals in klang valley are authorised to give out yellow vaccine jab and one of the hospitals which has provided the service is TTMC at KLCC. I've called up the hospital intend to make an appointment and the receptionist said walk-in will do. OK! since they opened on Saturday till 6pm, I have decided to visit them today (Sat).
I reached TTMC quite early about 10am, surprisingly the hospital is quite a lot of patients. I have to wait about 45 minutes for my turns to see the doc. A very friendly and soft-spoken Dr.Azlina consult me, then give me the jab later. Initially I felt nervous when look and the needle, but doc made is nicely and not pain at all... (^.^)
Finally, everything is done and it costs me RM340.00 (not cheap though). I got the certificate too of coz.
Oh ya.. doc said the vaccine can last for 10 years!
/hmm with the charges, I shall fully utilised it.

p/s: I read in The Borneo Post that vaccine jab needed for who are visiting certain countries and the authorised hospital in klang valley have the jab services. Here is the link:

Holbein Artists' Colored Pencils

   

tah-dang...I have requested Doreen who reside in Japan now helping me to buy the artist coloured pencil. This brand is not easy to get in KL and I would like to try it long time ago.
I'll use it on my mandala colouring in the new art bloc. shall wait and see.. yippie..

Missing in Action

Right... I admit I am missing for awhile.. there were too much to cope in the past 2 months until I 'purposely' forgotten to update my blog. Haha..

I've taken a long leaves to Egypt. Yes yes.. and now I am preparing for my next trip to Peru.. hurray..

The exact departure date will be on 25 August. Fast? yes.. time flies isn't it?

There are so much things to prepare because I heard a friend who had been there before already "warned" me that 'Fp, you need to use your soul to climb instead of using your physical body!!' 

Wow it sounds eerie soul walking.. hm.. how? gliding? 

Well well, It's too late to hold back now as full payments made, hotels booked, cloths and shoes bought, all necessary documents prepared and I have doctor appointment  to do yellow vaccine on this Saturday. 

So go with the flow lar... 

Row, row, row your boat

Every 2nd Sunday of the month is my favourite Sunday. This day is ACIM day! I have started attending ACIM on Jan this year for a new 'revolution' on my life journey. It's the most happy day for me!
Every time I will get some insight from Dr.Aaron or the people who share their story. This month Ben has shared the nursery rhyme "row, row, row your boat".
This song I learned to sing when I was in kindergarten, it's a easy to remember because of the short lyrics but I never noticed until Ben brought up the huge meaning behind it in ACIM yesterday. (I remember my teacher also didn't explain the meaning for us during that time, perhaps she thought it's just another nursery rhyme or we may not understand it after all).
The full lyric as below, let sing together:

两只狼

在一本书上看到了一则短故事，非常的有意义。在这我将它译成中文。
话说Charokee是其中一个印第安的部落，部落里的长老在教导他的孙子关于人生。

他说：‘我的内心有一场战斗，它是一场非常激烈的战斗，是两只狼在对抗着。
一只是恐惧，愤怒，嫉妒，悲伤，懊悔，贪婪，自大，自怜，内疚，怨恨，自卑，欺骗，
妄自尊大，竞争，高傲，和自我。

A Pleasant Suprise - Article being published

Yuhoo, my article being published in a chinese magazine named Feminine. I have read Feminine since I was a kid. Yes, reading story books and magazines is my one of my hobbies. Todate, although I stop buying other magazines which I used to buy them almost every month, except Feminine magazine.

They have a column with the title given everytime for readers to send in their articles. Therefore, I've try to send out mine too, and it was publish on 557 edition.

Throat Chakra Mandala

喉轮是我们的第五个能量中心。
位于喉咙，蓝色是它的代表颜色。

对应我们的身体器官的喉部和颈部。而对应身体的腺体是甲状腺。

蓝色给我们联想到平静，柔和，所发出的声音都让人觉得舒服。

蓝色也是对生命的信赖，就像蓝色的天空保护着我们，让我们安详的感觉。

当蓝色的喉轮平衡时，有能力顺利表达自己的想法、见解及感觉，也可以在适当时候保持沉默。


要知道喜時之言多失言，怒時之言多失禮，哀時之言多失常，樂時之言多失態。这都是我们如何运用喉轮的表达力量。

慎言

在面子书放了慎言这两个字，有几个朋友问我是什么意思。简单来说就是小心说活。
语言是我们内心世界的反映。有时，自己觉得无伤大雅的言语，殊不知却让人难堪，难受。
爱说什么就什么，反正就是想把我要说的话，说出来！对的。不过怎样说，如何说，什么时候说，这都是一门学问。
要别人明白我们的感受是没错。可是没有必要让人听了或看了不舒服，结果得而其反。让两人之间的关系闹得更僵。傷人之語，如覆水難收。不得体的语言，或过多赘语废话，是生烦恼的因由。
这里有一则故事：据说苏格拉底(Socrates) 非常善于演说，以教人们如何讲话为职，有一位青年前来请教，并说明演讲如何重要云云。。。。苏格拉底等他絮絮叨叨说了半天，向这位青年索取两倍的工资，青年问为什么？苏格拉底说：“因为我除了教你讲话，还要教你如何沉默”。
一个人的气质、性格、能力和 智慧都反映在言语里。会说话是一种生活态度也是一种修养。

A Pleasant Surprise - Little Angel

I received a little angle statue from sis Jasmine. Yes, is she again.. she like a santarina, loves to give out present to everyone she knew.
This cute little angel is carying a basket of flower, and she looks inebriety with the flowers and nature.
I have seen an interesting acronym of angel, i.e :

Always with you
Never judge you
Give you guidance every day
Enfold you in their healing wings
Love you unconditionally

生活哲学之蜜蜂与苍蝇

几天前，在报章上看了一个令人深思的文章，我想在这跟大家分享。
文章大约如下：
有人做了一个实验，将一只蜜蜂和一只苍蝇放进一个玻璃瓶中。然后把玻璃瓶平方，瓶底朝向较光的窗口，再打开瓶盖。
实验的结果是，勤奋的蜜蜂不断地在瓶底寻找出口，直到精疲力尽而死。而苍蝇却可以在几分钟内从玻璃瓶口逃出。
为什么？
蜜蜂以为‘密室’的出口必然是在光线最明亮的地方，因此只管拼命的撞向瓶底。对蜜蜂来说，自然界并无玻璃这种不能穿透的透明物体，所以，凭它们的‘逻辑和经验’，就不断地重复它认为合乎逻辑的举动。最后却死在被传统智慧和逻辑的约束里。
相反的，智力较低的苍蝇，对逻辑豪不在乎，只管四下乱飞，却误打误撞的找到了出口。
这是美国一个著名组织行为学者 Karl E.Weick的实验。他总结这实验指出~冒险，试错，即兴发挥，随机应变，方有助于应付万变得世情。

Heart Chakra Mandala

心轮是我们的第四个能量中心，位置在我们的整个胸口。 代表的颜色是绿色。对应我们的身体器官是心脏及肺部。而对应身体的腺体是胸腺（调节身体的成长及淋巴系统，强化免疫系统）。

在传统上，心轮是所有能量中心的核心，主旨是”爱”。如果开放，和谐运作，你会散发出温暖、同情心及理解心。你能爱别人也能感觉被爱。

绿色的语言是空间，当我们觉得苦恼，或郁闷时，看一看绿色的植物与大自然，顿时我们的心也变得舒坦了。

绿色也是妒忌或羡慕的颜色。当你看到别人过的，拥有的都比你好，你的心感受如何？ 有时时比较之心，心的空间也变得狭窄，心还会快乐吗？

绿色也代表选择判断，我们都有自由的选择权。当用心做选择时，都是愉快的。因为我们在创造我们所要的人生路途。

也许你会说：你没得选。可是‘没得选’也是一种选择的决定。你看到了吗？

心轮就像一个连接我们的下三轮（海底轮，脐轮 和太阳神经丛）和上三轮 （喉轮，眉心轮和顶轮）的中心点。

一个连接灵性世界(spiritual world) 和物理世界(physical world) 的桥梁。

A Pleasant Surprise - Desktop Computer

上个周末，回了一趟马六甲。弟弟把这还很新的电脑送了给我。刚好，我要把一间房来做书房，需要一架电脑。就来了这个意想不到的礼物。hurray....(/o\)

我这小弟弟待我很好的。除了有舍好东西会“益”我之外，他还帮我很多。真像我的小天使 *.^

Solar Plexus Mandala

我们的第三个脉轮称为太阳神经丛，颜色代表是黄色和金色。太阳神经丛位于我们的胃部和肚脐之间。

它对应到身体器官的消化系统。而对应到身体腺体的脾脏（产生胰岛素的腺体）。

太阳般的第三能量中心代表自我能量中心，尊重自己，为自己的选择与决定承担责任。。

这也是管你对权力和控制的信念，探索自己的真面目以及你的意志力，消化功能。

曼陀罗里的太阳花就像太阳般散发着光芒，照耀大地。而我们的太阳神经丛就像它一样有自信的面对生命里的起伏，并知道我们是自己的创造者。

A Pleasant Surprise - 情人节礼物和祝福短讯

今天是情人节，对来说不是一个特别的日子。哈哈，没有情人？Erm。。有，有，有，如果是人人所谓的‘那种’情人，就没有咯*,^

一早就收到了很久没怎么联络的一位朋友的情人节祝福短讯。然后，收到Jasmine的情人节礼物。就是这红盒子附加一小盒巧克力。赞喔。。

谢谢Sis Jasmine，谢谢这丰盛的大千世界。

祝大家情人节快乐，要珍惜眼前人喔。。

ACIM

Year 2012 of dragon, I have made a resolution that is to attend Dr.Aaron's seminar and ACIM class every 2nd Saturday and Sunday of every month.

I have A Course in Miracle (ACIM) book two years ago. I first saw the books with three volumn in Waterstone bookstore, London 2008. The three books are as thick as telephone directory. And I have selected quite a few New Age books that time, so not decided to buy it eventhough I wish to.

Then, one day I go to Kinokuniya at KLCC, I saw the book 3 in 1 compact edition. yippie!! and of cause I get it immediately. :-)

Initially I try to read the book chapter by chapter, and it actually is a lullaby to make me fall asleep. So, I put its in a corner of the bookshelf, 'wait' maybe one day I'll pick its up and read again.. .. ..

Last month January, I received an email from Seow Pen introduced me to Dr.Aaron's seminar (I had written the article about the seminar). In the seminar, I knew about ACIM will be held on the next day after the seminar. To cut the story short, I finally make up my mind to join ACIM.

ACIM is having at Bangunan Getah Asli... erm where is it? The building is at Jalan Ampang, right opposite KLCC. So, it's very easy to  find actually and on Sunday which traffic is very smooth on Sunday morning.

Wah.. the conference hall is big can accomodate more than 60 people. The charges is RM80 and as usual it includes breakfast, lunch and tea time, the balance is donate to orphanage home.

It's All About Love

今天，去了上Dr.Aaron 的讲座，课题是 - 完全都是爱，来配合即将来到的情人节。
当你看到这讲座题目，而认为讲的应该都是男女的情情爱爱，那么你对爱的领悟是多么的匮乏。

Dionne Warwick 的 What's The World Needs Now is Love 歌词里说的：
What the world needs now is love, sweet love
It's the only thing that there's just too little of

Everyone wants to love and be loved! 每一个人要爱与被爱。不管你和那人是什么关系或联系，即便他对你来说是个陌生人。

人类与动物不同是，人类对爱的包容是可以超越形式的(capacity to love beyond form)。意思是说我们除了爱人，也爱花草树木，也爱动物，也爱大自然，爱有形的，也爱无形的。
人类来到这世上都是学习爱的课题呀。不信？那么是时候睁开眼看一看自己和四周了。

人人都喜欢用‘爱的理由’来解析他的目的，意念和行为举止。可是这‘爱’是true love （无条件的爱）或misplaced love （有条件的爱）?

你的‘爱’是哪一种呢？

Dr.Aaron 的讲座都会让我们想一想'think about it'，这是他爱用的词语。
我们都爱为自己的芝麻绿豆的事而自寻烦恼。可是还有许多比我们不幸的人需要我们帮助。

讲座会的经费扣出酒店的费用（包括场地和早午餐）外，剩余的都是捐助孤儿院。这是Dr.Aaron主办讲座会的主要目的。我很荣幸能够参与，心情充满感激与感恩。

A Mother's Love

One day, Jasmine told me that she found a very nice art masterpiece of Mother & Child somewhere in a shop at Bandar Utama.Then the next day, she bought it and wanted to display at centre.

The art piece is a marmaid holding her new borned baby to her heart. It's like protecting and nurturing the child.

We are going to have a workshop/seminar for parenting soon, as this will be the centre direction. We hope that the parents will benefit from the workshop/seminar to guide their rainbow and crystal children.

Talk about the talented artist. Her name is Selina meaning 'moon' and she is from Australia. When Selina was a child, she loved to read myth and magic, princesses and fairies stories.

Later on, she try to illustrate and draw the artworks in the story books. And found her talent on drawing.

Selina's artwork is mostly mixed medium, from watercolour or acrylics on paper to ink, pencil, pastels and also digital element in order to create different effect she desires.

Sacred Chakra Mandala

这是第二个能量中心 - 脐轮。

脐轮位于我们的性器官，生殖器官，大肠，膀胱，臂部，手腕与脚餜。

它代表橙色的能量。象征和谐，团结，信任，整合，依赖/互相依赖和独立。

中央画着的是腰果的果子。当画着这幅图是，这果子出现在我脑海里。所以就把它画了。

在饮食篇里，腰果腰果营养丰富，清脆可口，味道香甜，即可当零食食用，又可制成美味佳肴。它含有丰富的油脂，可以润肠通便，润肤美容，延缓衰老。

六芒星形是男根-女阴结合体的象征符号。六芒星（Hexagram）发源于印度教的古代宗派Tantrism派，这个宗派奉行女阴崇拜或女性中心性崇拜。其主要的崇拜偶像是男根-女（Lingam-Yoni）的结合体。

六芒星形中尖端向下的三角形是卡利·玛(Kali-Ma)的象征物“女阴”的符号，因此这个倒三角被称为“女阴的图象”即 Yoni Yantra。

尖端向上的三角形代表男性性器，两个三角形的交汇代表男性和自己母亲的交合、从而成为最初的“两性具有者”（Androgyne），代表了融合和圆满。 

A Pleasant Surprise - Lunar New Year Hamper

Year of Rabbit going to end soon. There are two more days, Dragon is 'on board'. Dragon in chinese culture is a very auspicious animal.
This coming lunar new year, I've received 2 lovely hampers from sis Jasmine. Thank you! It's not expected because one of the hampers is new cloths. Sis Jasmine said '让我有吃有穿' which is a very good wishes to me.

Root Chakra mandala

买了很久的画画簿终于用了。我很羡慕那些会画画的人，尤其可以把感觉用画图的方式发表出来。所以买了一本画画簿，也尝试自己画。

既然曾经学过初级mandala，就画吧。起初在网络参考了几个sacred symbol, 拿点idea. 后来就选了lotus symbol.

Lotus 象征纯洁，自然，出于泥而不染。神圣的诞生。

在mandala的四周画上了小lotus symbol and spiral symbol.

在涂颜色的过程中，突然想把整个图都彩上红色系列。就是要把红色能量显现出来。

红色代表了生命力，对生命的热和活力。活出自己，爱自己。把自己无限的潜能发挥出来。Yes!

镜子

镜子是一个表面光滑，并可反射光线的物品。镜子常被我们用来整理仪容，尤其出门之前都会在镜子前照一照，确定对自己从头到脚都满意了才踏出家门。

镜子不只是外用，其实在我们心里各自都拥有一面镜子，心态是快乐喜悦的或悲伤忧愁的都会反映在我们的身上和身边我们所遇到的人事物。

就像一位英国作家William Makepeace Thackeray说的“Life is a mirror: if you frown at it, it frowns back; if you smile, it returns the greeting.”

所以当我们带有批判性的看别人“我看到某某很累”“我看到他更比我迷失”时，这不都是自己的心理反射吗？

佛家所说的：物随心转，境由人造。都是同样的道理呀。

Happy New Me

Welcome back, happy new "Me". I have stopped blogging since .. now I am back!!

A friend Seow Pen has forwarded an email to me about the seminar facilated by Dr.T Arron Lim -
The Law of Prosperity which was held in Pearl International Hotel.
Seow Pen said she hope to see me there (she is from Seremban and we knew each other from teacher Dehyana's Cambodia spiritual trip) but no obligation.

The Law of Prosperity.. hm a very interesting topic. The charges is very very cheap with handout notes, breakfast and buffet lunch included and what touched me most is the surplus of charges are donate out to support orphand and underprivileged children.

In Saturday morning, I wake up early to get ready and prepare to leave home early.
The hotel I have been once long long time ago, and not quite remember how's the parking look like.
I reached the hotel safely and since it's not yet time for register (9am), I sit in the car and read newspaper.

Then I saw a familiar face, Theresa and her sister Ericca what a surprise and Ericca's hubby - Roy.
What a relieve (ok I admit a bit kan cheong :-p ) to see familiar faces. I follow them to the seminar room at 7 floor and we are the first group of participant to arrive. PH Chin was there before us to take care everything, he is one of the seminar helper.

As the time pass by, the other helpers and participants are arriving and the breakfast is served. Wow, almost most of them I haven't seen before except Gek We, Steve and Melissa.

The seminar started with introduce the first timer, then Dr.Arron talk about the laws towards prosperity in life. Hah.. want to be prosperity also have to follow the law.. don't play play haha..

There are total eleven laws which we need to do right in order to get the best result :-

5) The Law of Increase
6) The Law of Compensation
7) The Law of Non-Resistance

You are not responsible for what you do.
You are responsible for how/the way you think,
because what you do is come from your thought.
Make sense? Yes of course!

It was a seminar full of laughter and inspiring information. I am grateful to have priviledge to attend the seminar. Really looking forward to the next one.

At the end of the seminar, still did not see Seow Pen turn up. However, she is an angel to inform me about the seminar .
