Since I just bought a new art block, so might as well I draw it out as cover page of my mandala book and did a little research what are peacocks generally symbolise.
- Peacock represents immortality.
- In Buddhism, peacock symbolised wisdom.
- The peacock feathers represent renewal & 'the all seeing eye of God'
- Native American believed peacock a symbol of dignity, wholeness, and beauty.
- Peacock has the power of resurrection.
- It associated with goddess Lakshmi whi represents benevolence, patience, kindness, compassion, and good fortune.
- A guardian of royalty to Persian & Babylonia.
- Peacock eats poisonous with no ill effects, so it's symbolised they have the ability to thrive in the face of suffering.
